I am writing a new column aimed at 40+ women in the online magazine, Bare Essentials, and the first topic I have covered in the May/June issue are the pros and cons of using cosmetic surgery to hang on to your looks.

 

According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald recently, it seems the old adage face or figure is true after all, at least once you hit 40. 

 

This is a topic which relates to many fortysomething women and a return to work. 

 

Readers of the book will have learned about the amazing results which can be achieved in terms of rejuvenation using Ominlux light therapy.

In one of my radio interviews I was asked about some of the fabulous fortysomethings I quote in my book, and if I knew which fabulous female celebrities are turning forty in 2009.

 

 

This was another interesting question has been asked of me....who inspires me? 

 

Before doing a radio interview this morning, I heard a story about a young, obese Brisbane girl who suffered from the early signs of a heart attack at the age of 10.
